| What a nice surprise: schwermetall.ch found very kind words for Armoury Of God - long live the german reviewer: Schwermetall (CH) 9/13 "'The First Church' ist dementsprechend ein wunderbar grooviges Stück Doom, das mich zunächst stark an die Briten von My Silent Wake erinnert."  When the Swiss go shopping in the Holy Land ....  Hah! Pylons! Crossing over to Egypt was not encouraged, but Egypt welcomed us in Massada!  Now, if anyone ever has a penchant to "enjoy" Currywurscht, we cordially recommend this guy, Ask for added onions! |

| Once again we are in the wonderful position to gratefully acknowledge new reviews and the first published interview: Interview: Untombed (US) - interview with Matt "I think the fact that we are sounding like we do is not created by will, it just “happened” that we are so close to old Sabbath or Candlemass. If I could play guitar like Dave Murray and sing like Bruce Dickinson we would probably sound more like Iron Maiden!" Reviews: Children Of Doom (GR): "Doom metal needs not only pure melodies but also pure hearts." Although we are stumped by the reviews Armoury Of God is getting, there are one or two things we would like to share with you: We cordially welcome Andy L.M. on guitar into the band. Andy is kind enough to set aside some time from his main band, Disobedience , and add new tinges of guitaration to new songs. Vale is not NOT in the band, but as his other endeavours take up much of his time, he cannot be with us in every rehearsal. Furthermore, Matt aims to dedicate more of his talent to singing and is very grateful to have such a quick-minded string ally in Andy. Did we mention 'new songs'? - Well, yes, Armoury Of God may be officially released only this Friday, but the structures of five new tunes, including one riffing instrumental, are in place. - Just remember, Pÿlonians: Harrowing Of Hell is set to be a vinyl album and there can be but some mere forty minutes' worth of music on there! What a monster of a review we have received from Doommantia! If it were not for their few caveats and some highly critical other reviews, we might get light-headed! - Read 'em all! |
