A thousand bits of news, great and small:

Pÿlon will be featured on three compilations in 2013:

- HEAVY METAL NATION IX – Recordings Of Fear (Quam Libet Records (CH))
- Compilation Transit (Transit magazine (CH) & accompanying CD)
- Revelation Underground #XVIII (Pavillon 666 webzine (FR) & download / physical CD)

The first of which, Revelation Underground #XVIII, will be available in April and contains Psalm 139 a by Pÿlon.

11 June will be the release date of something very special: Roxxproductions (US) will release the deluxe edition of The Harrowing Of Hell:

- CD album with two additional new bonus tracks, Golden Voice and Lines
- 12-page lyric booklet
- Limited to 550 copies world-wide
- Bonus CD for the first 100 pre-orders: the best of the three ‘trilogy’ albums including a powerful re-mix of Falling Into The Sun.

This wonderful look back on the first ten years of Pÿlon is an ideal way to mark the end of the musical collaboration of Matt and Jan. Whilst Matt will keep the Pÿlon banner aloft, Jan will simply put his feet up.

Sadly, Andy La Morte cannot be with the band for an indefinite stretch of time because of a serious illness. His – and our – priority is his steady and thorough convalescence for which we wish him all the very best!

For the current writing and recording, Matt and Andrea will be joined by Exile Rd. and former Minsk Security / Scythe And Fury guitarist and singer Oliver Schneider, so there is no doubt something great will come our way.

Pÿlon are more than honoured to announce their collaboration with the US-based metal label Roxxproductions .
In March, Roxxproductions is set to release Pÿlon's fifth and most recent album, The Harrowing Of Hell, as a deluxe CD edition with two new original bonus tracks.

The Harrowing Of Hell is currently available on blue vinyl in a gatefold sleeve.
Roxxproductions' most recent release is the deluxe edition of R-Existence by Italian thrashers, Boarders . In 2007, Boarders used to be label mates with Pÿlon on Quam Libet Records.

What a way to commence the new year: on January 01, 2013, Matt, Jan and Andrea headed out to Tonstudio Raphael Angst in order to record two songs – one by a favourite song writer of ours, Leif Edling, and a new version of one of our own previously released tunes.

We had been invited by Raphael to contribute to an interesting project of his: to promote his recording studio (and his excellent recording and mixing skills), he will release a compilation with some fifteen bands who will all record at his studio in Spiez.

Beforehand, we had already heard some of his work, namely recordings by his own band, PetreFakt with whom we had already shared a spot on a compilation .
In other words: brace yourselves for a very, very powerful HEAVY METAL NATION IX – Recordings of Fear compilation in summer 2013!


A new year dawning.	Raphael, Andrea, Matt.	Good to go.

Doom Magic happening.	Recording fear.	Keep your pants on, it's just for guide vocals.
