| Incredible! Rockmetalbands.com has voted Doom the Album of the Month! The corresponding review is a Dantesque novel in its own right and an absolute must-read! "Here we are talking about British tradition, magical, timeless music [...] so sulphureos that if Dante were alive he'd certainly be banging his fucking head now and would choose this as a soundtrack to his 'Inferno'." On HardnHeavy.org , Doom was the Album of the Month (March) as well! – Thank you for this once-in-a-lifetime feeling, doomed souls of Italy! | |

Doom, Pÿlon's third album, is now available from Quam Libet Records / Non Stop Music as a beautiful eight-page digipack with 3D embossing effects. 13 new tracks show Pÿlon as a band which connects both traditional and epic doom with sometimes psychedelic, sometimes harsh, sometimes emotional elements, thus appealing to fellow fans of '70s music as well as of more recent years. | ||
![]() Music: Time and again flute and clarinet notes, ranging from tender to whoopingly insane, to complement the slow, plodding guitar riffs in unconventional ways yet still ending up supporting their force. Lyrics: 'Doom' stands for 'ruin, fate, judgement', hence the lyrics treat the entanglement of the spirit in earthly life which, in return, appears not to lack concordial guidance after all. The words to Ho Theos Erchestai are based on John Milton's epic Paradise Lost. Artwork: The ambitious artwork, kept in autumnal colours throughout, was created and realised in its entirety by guitar player and vocalist Matt Brand. Evilized.de were the glorious first to publish a review of the album. It is strongly advised that you do not read it if your wish is not to spoil the suspense. | 1. Renovatio (Renewal & Relapse) 2.
